Seville, the capital of Andalusia and famous as the "cradle of flamenco". What an amazing place. Arriving by a cruiseship in Seville is something very special! It takes seven hours to get up the Guadalquivir River until you arrive in the middle of the city.

Barcelona, what a cosmopolitan city! I spent three full days there and explored the metropolis of the Basque country extensively. Incredible the weather I had and this in November during my stay!

Málaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol or Coast of the Sun. One of my favourite cities in Spain. It was not until the 1960s that Malaga became known as an important tourist centre. Hotels and resorts sprouted throughout the city. The most famous son of Malaga is undoubtedly Pablo Picasso, but more on that later.

Cartagena is located in the southeast of Spain (Murcia). In this port city is Spain's largest naval base in the Mediterranean. For every tourist of antiquity and historic buildings, the historic city should definitely look here. Once upon a time, it was the capital of the Karthagener in Europe.
